We are excited to announce multiple engineering openings at our Region 3 Tech Center in Southern Oregon! These positions have a range of qualifications--read below to find the right fit for you. A day in the life:

  • Coordinate inspection activities on construction projects to meet the needs of the contractor’s work schedule.
  • Serve as lead inspector on complex projects.
  • Interpret plans and specifications for roadway and bridge construction projects to ensure compliance.
  • Verify quality of field-tested materials and prepare and maintain the test summary for materials on each project.
  • Work in both an office environment and in the field. More than half of your time will be in and around construction equipment on a daily basis.
  • Occasional travel is expected, and working at project sites with exposure to rough terrain, inclement weather and hazardous plant and insect life may be required.

We have three openings available with different qualifications. Click the job titles below to learn more and apply:

InspectorRequres an Associate's degree in Engineering technology and two years of engineering experience, or three and one-half years of sub-professional engineering experience is required to qualify for the underfill training opportunity for this position.

Senior InspectorRequires a bachelor's degree in civil or transportation-related engineering or completion and passing score on the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. 

Quality Control Compliance SpecialistRequires a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, surveying or transportation-related engineering and one year of civil engineering or surveying experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. No degree necessary if you have four years of para-professional engineering or surveying experience with one year of this experience being independent or senior team work.
