Oregon Tech is seeking applications for an Administrative Program Specialist in Dental Hygiene. This is a 12-month, full-time position located on the Klamath Falls campus in Klamath Falls, Oregon. The successful applicant is expected to manage and coordinate daily operations for the dental hygiene and dental clinic and front office. The position is responsible for oversight of sterilization procedures, maintaining CDC compliance for infection control, quality assurance compliance, oversight of equipment monitoring and maintenance, inventory and supplies for the clinic, quality assurance testing, clinic budget management, accounts payable/accounts receivable for clinic office; training and supervision of student workers; troubleshooting and coordinating service with the IT department for all clinic/office computers and software issues; and assistance with scheduling, filing, billing, answering phones, and student training and guidance on patient chart management.

Required: Two years of experience as an administrative specialist or executive support specialist, which included administrative support for a project, program, or operation. Administrative support includes those duties beyond clerical/secretarial such as: interpretation of laws, rules, and regulations; administrative data collection and analysis; and evaluation of projects, processes, and operations; OR an equivalent combination of training and experience, One year of post-secondary education may be substituted for up to one year of the experience.

Preferred: Experience in Dental Assisting, Training in Infection Control and OSHA/Bloodborne Pathogens, MSDS, CDC guidelines for dentistry, Ability to move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
